Have you ever been surrounded by so many fish that you don’t know which way is up or down? It is easy to get disoriented because of the sensory implosion that is Whitehouse Rock. Due to its unpredictable visibility and occasional thermoclines, it makes for an action packed adventure for anyone who descends here. Like diving at the scene from a book of fairytales, it is filled with the most beautiful eerie soft and hard corals such as gigantic gorgonians and vibrant whip corals.
An otherworldly garden of white Sea fans make for a ghostly sight straight out of a Japanese thriller, enough to give you goosebumps. If you’re lucky and the visibility isn’t too great you can quickly find yourself in the center of a crazy hunting scene, with huge Tuna, Trevally and Barracuda that whiz past you and cutting through schools of small but elegant fusiliers.
