S.S. Inchkett
There is something very delightfully spooky about diving a sunken shipwreck. One of the best wrecks in the Andamans, it is mesmerizing to see how such a massive man-made object transitions into an ideal home for so many fish and coral. This site is a colorful collage of coral interspersed with bright fluorescent rust sprouting from the wreck, peppered with Nudibranchs, ghost pipe fish and shrimp provide excellent scope for macro photography. The broken moss-covered toilet promises to make you feel even stranger, while the resident blind Giant puffer fish who lives near the wreck adds to the mysterious vibe of this site.
