One of the most expansive sites around Havelock, Minerva’s vast coral gardens hold almost every species of marine flora and fauna that are native to these waters.
It’s magnificent display of colourful coral and large schools of Fusiliers, Snapper, Surgeon fish, Unicorn fish, Trevally and Barracuda sashaying above them make for an amazing dive experience that beckons you to return for more.
Currents at this site can range from mild to ripping which, if timed right, gives the best opportunity for a drift dive near Havelock.
The currents, again, are responsible for bringing some cool pelagic action to the site while moray eels, sting rays and giant groupers play hide and seek amongst rocky outcrops and the nearby sand banks.
